Discover Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Change damaging thoughts and behaviours
What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented form of counselling that’s based on the premise that negative patterns of thinking and behaviour can result in mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and excessive stress.
Using CBT, we’ll identify and challenge damaging or unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that affect your wellbeing. You will learn to “replace” these negative patterns with more positive or balanced ones, leading to improved emotional well-being and a decrease in behaviours that are negatively impacting you.
CBT has helped hundreds of thousands of people around the world. What I love about this counselling approach is that it allows you to break down complex emotional and mental issues into smaller, more manageable parts and tasks. As a result, you can better understand your problems and learn the ways to overcome them.
When is CBT helpful?
CBT is a goal-oriented and evidence-based therapy approach, which means it can be used to help you with a wide range of emotional and mental health related issues, such as:
Panic attacks
Low self-esteem
Depression
Stress
Burnout
Phobias
Anxiety
Relationship Issues
